@Monzstar83 F1 World seems to be their latest attempt at monetizing the product by trying to increase player engagement and exposition to microtransactions. Not really trying to capitalize on the recent resurgence in popularity, just applying those many tricks of "keep players logging in every day and eventually they'll buy something".

Given how it's also a huge raise in popularity for team principals and team drama, a proper revamping of career modes would be more pertinent in my opinion.

My suspicion re. F1 world was that it was based on a broader drive from EA to introduce similar elements across multiple titles. And from my perspective the concepts seem broadly GOOD to me but most specifically falling down by inexplicably not providing an adjustable AI difficulty setting.
