@TrekariWhen I used to smoke I’d light up have a few puffs then the rest would burn out in the ashtray. 🙄.
Vaping is more convenient and a whole lot cheaper

If you trimmed (to put it mildly) this and the "why no one apologizes" bits from your posts, I would get fully behind your sentiment. Most here do not like (again, to put it mildly) the current state of the franchise.
But wishing harm for employees, even if you're just being hyperbolic for the sake of getting noticed, is over the line. On a similar vein, expect that any one employee can just stand up and apologize on the behalf of the company is nonsensical as that is just now how any business work, whatever the trade.
Which is not to say that the community doesn't deserve an apology, this should go without saying. The state of the game for a good chunk of the player base is simply unacceptable - e.g. Logitech wheel users.
But any employee must adhere to the company primer on conduct or give base to termination. Expressing their opinions on the company's conduct, or speaking on their behest without authority or approval are a no-go.
Just ask your own HR if you can write an apology or express your discontentment with the service or product your company puts out and see what sort of response you'll get.
This is not even about setting our expectations as consumers. Just plain out wrong. Employees aren't allowed speak for or speak against their companies on a whim, and express your willingness to a "forced-hunger diet" for each and every F1 employee because of that and other decisions taken by upper management is just crass and myopic.
Again, hopefully I don't need to reiterate that no one here is happy with the state of the game and that of the franchise.
