I can not believe I prefer playing Grid Legends arcade cheese racer more than this game.Yup, when it first came out it felt amazing to drive. Now... feels just as bad as last year. I've gotten pretty tired of it. Today is probably the first time I've touched the game in about 3-4 weeks. Sad really because I used to play it daily. Now it's just like driving a dump truck again especially in my team, and speaking of my team it's been the same stale mode for how many years now? I'll never remember what my settings were, it's not even enjoyable to play now trying to reset them and remember what they were. Guess it's a good thing though that one of my 3 career saves didn't get deleted... terrible.
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@petro1319 My team was added in 2020. And even though they have said they have made balancing improvements each year. But all the changes they have made don’t feel as though they have properly gone through and changed the code so the gameplay and math add up. But just added scripted events and cheats. Problem being to few off them means they are poorly disguised and used so often you know exactly what to expect after a while
I honestly didn't think it could get any worse from last year but they've achieved it. This game needs a review bomb as that's the only way to get a message across it seems, we all know too many people will buy F1 24 and keep this facade going.
Ideally, we need FOM to strip Codemasters/EA of this licence almost immediately and have F1 24 being the last game these jokes are allowed to sell. Would be really nice if the e-Sports drivers and Youtubers who are paid to play this garbage and have the biggest voices could raise awareness to the people which matter in this sorry state of affairs.
The incompetence of the devs is almost criminal. 90% of these supposed patch solutions are fraudulent or simply incorrect. EA doesn't care either. They just expect us to forget and buy the next one like mindless drones. Any respectable company wouldn't treat their customers like this.

@EA_Vendcera couldn’t you simply rollback to 1.10 meanwhile?

Remember in previous games there was a similar patch, that broke things down. People asked for a rollback but it didn’t happen, since many stuff they changed simply cannot be restored as before.

Two things I've noticed since the patch.
1 - Big frame drops in wet races. Had no trouble with this before, not since release.
2 - Weird new thing where I'm getting brief moments of the car taking control away from me but not control the of game, still able to pause and flashback, so not a controller issue.
As I'm braking, the car will stop braking, it'll roll and sometimes even starts throttling, and I can't steer - as in, can't even turn the wheel despite wiggling the thumbstick. Then control comes back. It'll last about a second or two, but enough to cause a problem, even a crash and potentially end my race. It's like it's trying to mimic locking up but the wheels are still turning, and it's just like AI control has taken over the car and it starts rolling straight instead. Had it several times since the new patch. And again, not a controller issue - playing other racing games, and this hasn't been happening with them.
Also had an incident of this during a collision, got punted and spun and my car suddenly throttled up towards a bunch of other cars, causing more carnage (checked replay - wasn't being pushed, car was doing this under its own power). Again, couldn't steer, it was like AI control had taken over. And again, still able to pause and flashback - this time before control was handed back to me, so not a controller issue.

It's horrible.
I don't remember my controller calibration values.
I spent a long time for calibration to fit my driving style.
It would be so terrible to do that again.
Your fault EA. give back my settings.
