@mariohomohRain on camera still looks stupidMaybe there's a chance we finally get to opt to have no rain in career mode then it might not matter so much...

@Ultrasonic_77I’d prefer that: Over rain drops rolling down the camera and not reacting to the physics.
But overall I’m quite excited. Knowing how the handling feels this year.
- pawel5673 years agoNew Ace@dancrodrigues Today's games mainly live on multiplayer, which must be good and stable enough to encourage players to play. Without this, F1 wouldn't make any sense because everyone would get bored with it after 1 month.

@pawel567700 hours and not once have I gone on multiplayer. Only 10% of players on PlayStation have completed 10 online races. Considering most online races are only 5 laps that’s very poor. Most popular F1 content creators mainly put out single player content including Jarno Opmeer
50 races 3% and 100 races 1%
Also addF1 21 only 12% completed 10 races…
This is the reason I don’t play online Completed 10 clean races 1%
I did 900 hours on 21 offline 😁
And from the goat that is 2020
13.6% completed 10 online races
2019 12%
Id sat on those figures majority off people who play online get bored well before a month
- pawel5673 years agoNew Ace@ScarDuck14 How are you losing 700 hours offline? Honestly, I'd get bored after 100 hours, and where would I be after 700 or even 900. I'd recommend you to join some cool league (I can recommend you) and you'd ride with players and not with bots (AI) 🙂
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@pawel567 Because I have no interest in racing people. Ai is sufficient as it is for the majority of people.
Ai may not be perfect. But as I have nothing to prove they are better than humans. Faster than majority of humans. Won’t whinge and whine and accuse me of cheating like humans. Don’t get upset and throw a tantrum and crash into me and ruin my race just because they don’t like being beaten. Or just crash into me because they think it’s fun.
Although I do get upset when the Ai cheats.😂 - mariohomoh3 years agoHero (Retired)@pawel567 online and offline are indeed such different experiences that interactions like this (exclusively online player vs exclusively single player) doesn't surprise me in the least 🙂
That said, I have yet to hear about online user base trumping over offline players, number wise. This info is not that easy to come by but as far as I know, offline game modes get more mileage than online multiplayer over F1 games' lifecycle.

We tend to see things through our own bias but sometimes is nice to take a step back and see the broader picture. The world is too big and wide.
Whilst there are obviously loads of players who only care about offline modes I do think that online participation would be a lot higher if it was a better experience. It really is honestly pretty dire in F1 22 but could be so much better, in many different ways. I really hope F1 23 sees a marked improvement.
Trophy completion rates for career mode aspects aren't super high either from a quick look btw.
@Ultrasonic_77100% with you. Game should be good for all audience.
It's just this argument of online over offline (and could it be the other way around too) that doesn't go well to me.
