1: Everyone would kick off if they gave less grip like everyone kicked off even some eSports drivers even quit the league racing on 22 when they put less grip on that game so EA won't make that mistake again as having a eSports driver quit league on 22 was a big message to EA to put more grip for 23 which they have done so would forget about the less grip as EA won't change anything.
2. EA F1 23 is a arcade game so you won't get the times to relastic real life times as it's F1 23 is not a Full SIM game it's a arcade game so obviously the times in game is gonna be faster than Real life F1 Times because it's a arcade game so till EA decides to change to F1 Full SIM racing game you'll get these F1 Arcade racing games with unrealistic times as EA are Multiple Million dollar company but they wouldn't be able to afford to make a F1 Full Racing game as it wouldn't be worth Thier own cost to make the game for that 1 year they would lost too much money, so the only way EA could actually make a F1 Full SIM racing game with relastic performance times is if they just Brought out like a F1 game only next gen and PC then EA could do it like Iracing where it's just 1 whole game but they updated with new features that's the only way EA would make money and keep everyone happy who wants relastic F1 Times but EA won't change the grip levels as you have to remember EA is a business and the eSports drivers are loving the grip levels and all good reviews on grip levels and handling model by all eSports drivers, You have to see it from EA they keep eSports drivers happy as alot of players look up to them so if eSports drivers are happy and are they are with grip levels and handling model then everyone is happy and that means more players buying and playing F1 23, because you think how much EA lost and looked when a eSports driver said he had enough of 22 that's it I'm quitting league racing on F1 22 that looks so bad on EA so they actually listened to the eSports drivers from last game on 22 and now gave more grip 23 which everyone is loving the new handling model.

You can't reproduce everything on a computer all the turbulence and imperfection of street and bumps
It will always be faster unless you fake some parameter to try to match the time lowering the power of the cars but that it would effect different each track as some are more directly correlated to power then others
You will never have a game make the exact same times as reality simulator at arcade there is no way
- JRVolts3 years agoRising Adventurer@Meza994 F1 23 isn't a SIM racing game tho it's a arcade game so times will be faster than real life times on a arcade game so till EA decides to make a Full SIM racing F1 game times with always be faster as it will cost EA too much money to make a Full SIM racing game for 1 year every year they won't make it as 2 things cost too much money to make and they would lose too much money if people didn't buy it as they are a business so like every business the project gets set amount to spend then all about profit as 22 cost them loads of money when they changed the grip levels on that game so they wont make that same mistake again
- Meza9943 years agoSeasoned Ace@JRVolts As i said, even on full sim games the times are faster than real life lol
It has nothing to do with EA or money, IRL drivers can NEVER reach the limits of a car simply because of self preservation, g-forces, bumps and much more.. And real drivers say current F1 23 grip is more realistic than in previous year :D- JRVolts3 years agoRising Adventurer
@Meza994True I suppose EA has got enough on Thier hands at the moment with all the bugs and the game getting over run by those who are using cheats in Ranked lobbies and Custom Leagues lobbies, Time Trial so to be honest think the most important thing is EA needs to take their game back from these players using cheats as every Ranked lobbies on cross play there is someone using cheats as 2/3 seconds faster than everyone else in lobby both in Dry and wet races so EA need to get this Anti Cheat system out and ban these players as it's awful but Cheating as become some much more since Cross play was added so think they should get rid of Cross play completely and let the PC and console players play on Thier own again as Cross play has just made a war between PC players and console players as in Ranked lobbies you see some PC players using cheats then the console players taking them out all the time so it's just a war zone in ranked lobbies with all the players using cheats and taking eachother out
