F1 23 playtest site high traffic error

The Playtesting Portal site has been giving me the following error for 2 days straight now, no matter when, how many times and from which browser I try to log in:
Sorry. We are experiencing higher than expected website activity.

Come on EA, surely scaling up your servers isn't that hard... Either that or something's extremely wrong on my end.

    @IFlashHUNI Go back to playtest site. Login and and report a problem. There has been a guy over there that has helped people sign up to the original beta because of error’s. Hopefully he will be able to help you.

    @IFlashHUNI  I had that a few times.  But after refreshing I get in no problem…. But just incase it’s on EA’s end I’ll flag it.   Thanking you kindly

    It's ok on my end. Give Ctrl + Shift+ R a go as it flushes the browser cache for that particular page just in case you got it hung there for some reason. That's for Chrome.

    @mariohomoh I'm using opera gx, tried hard reloading the page, still no luck. Also tried from microsoft edge, a fresh install of firefox and the phone versions of opera gx and chrome, same error.

    Just this second logged on using Safari with no problem.

    @ScarDuck14 After a bit of digging it looks like the issue is with my account. I am unable to log into the playtesting portal on it, but creating a new account went perfectly fine. Still, it's a bummer if I'm unable to participate in the beta because of this...

    @IFlashHUNI I passed on this thread to my overlords. Who have passed it over to the relevant department. So don’t give up on the account with the issue. There may well be an issue on EAs end and if so it will be fixed shortly.

    @ScarDuck14 Welp, I missed the beta signup period but I can finally log into the site now! Thank you for all the help, the only question I have left is can I still get invited to future sessions? This is the first time I tried to join one 😅

    @ScarDuck14 Some side info, the Report A Problem button on the bottom of the page doesn't work in Opera GX (version 98.0.4759.56), it just takes you back to the login page. I managed to report it through MS Edge though, thank you again for everything! :D
