F1 23 vs. F1 22 for pad

Because of the problem of the bad traction for pad users in F1 23 we start now thinking going back to F1 22. 

Before we played F1 21. The grip was good, the handling was fine overall. We had very good races. Now in F1 23 the pad users have massive disadvantage. They have so less grip in rear when accelerating out of slow corners, that my mate is often about a second or more behind me (wheel). No good situation for coop season. 

How do you rate F1 22? Are there also any handling problems for pad users? How are the tracks Baku and Miami there? Here we have almost no grip, the breaks don't react as they should. How would you describe F1 22 here??

    I can say F1 22 with medium tc is better than F1 23 without tc.

    F1 22 with medium tc is more interesting.

    In 23 acceleration is very harsh with 2nd gear at super slow corner exit.

    I will return to F1 22, i play with Full Traction, sadly it's unplayable in F1 23 (Sliding in Slow Corners only on Dry Condition)

    pad drivers moaning by don´t have a same speed and experience than wheel drivers

    in next topic, playing on xbox controller and moaning because loses in csgo against mouse players

    @DonBlanko Recently, I jumped back to F1 22 at Spa and I was shocked at how sluggish the controller was in fast corners on F1 22 compared to F1 23. As for traction, it's never been this easy to go full throttle out of any slow corners. Massive shout out to the devs and @ScarDuck14 for pushing this for us controller racers!

    PS just raced there for the 1st time on F1 23 (25% multiplayer race). No complaints whatsoever. Last year, it was tricky to go out of T1, into T2 and T3. No more rear sliding into T7. Same goes for T12.

    What are u talking about? There's clearly a bug on full traction in F23 on dry Condition (with PS5 Controller)? The rear end of the car is permanently sliding on slow corners

    It's easier to drive on wet condition...

    @Blackbird90 So you think, you the handling in F1 22 is sluggish und "heavy" in high speed corners instead of the F1 23 cars?

    Good to see that F1 22 seems to be so much better for controller user.

    Are there any other disadvantages to swap back to F1 22?

    The opposite. F1 23 is next galaxy better than F1 22 ever was for controller.
