I quit a race right after it started by returning to main menu and then restarted my game and it seems to have fixed the issue

Yup same here, nearly all the events i've raced on f1 world recently have started me on wets.

  @matty0blobber The only thing one can do to resolve it if that happens is to restart the game, or it will (from my own experience) affect every single event that you enter after it.
