- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@LagoiSerana As far as features and graphics go. I am/was expecting pretty much the same as previous years. Don’t really expect any real changes to come until it’s all built on a new Engine which is rumoured to be next year.
If next game is on new engine does that mean it won’t be available for old gen players? Hopefully with new engine the game is really incredible I guess they’ll already be working on that game by now because of the separated coding teams for the games. Maybe sacrificing this year game and putting all eggs into next year’s basket?

That would be my guess. We will have had the current gen consoles for over 3.5 years at that point so hardly an unreasonable step if they do, as well as it likely resulting in a better gameplay experience for those who are using the current gen consoles. Of course whenever the game is no longer made for last gen consoles there will be some who are frustrated by this.
I wonder if they’ll put all eggs in one basket for 24’s new game on maybe new engine. Maybe there is a master 🅱️lan behind f1 world and will become a great feature in f1 game and take over the world.

@LagoiSeranaIf F1 world will be something like the Multiplayer hub where you could visit each others homes/motorhomes (F1 2010/11 esc) and that being the 'menus' so to say, or at least the menus for multiplayer, i would think they could implement it fairly well, if its just more furniture and carpets and what not i dont think it will be that much of a hit.
Putting all their eggs in one basket for the f1 24 game (new engine, fully next gen game) i would think thats one of the best options they could opt for . - Hempyjr3 years agoSeasoned Ace
We have to wait and see if these rumors are true and if they are how all these things are implemented into game. Like @ScarDuck14 said, it seems we will receive more changes than we expected and the positive thing is that they are working on changing something about the game even it is on the same game engine. If they listened to us or not regarding those changes and how will they implement them into game is another problem 🙂
The online licence system will be a disaster. They couldn't even get race penalties to work correctly, for example you get rammed under safety car you get the penalty.
I can see people getting rammed in races and the game blaming you and giving you safety penalties points, their safety rating going down and being stuck to racing in crash fest lobbies because the licence rating blocks them from entering other lobbies
Sounds like minimal low hanging fruit effort, were probably looking at: a simple graphics change to the hud so it matches tv (been asking for this for 7 years) but the community will be overhyped with it and some EA micro transaction junk and a story mode.
I also find it funny that people are already saying "but next year will be better new game engine" been hearing this for 4 years now
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@FG44141 New engine won’t make next years better. From experience new engine means minimal content.
- @ScarDuck14 Was meaning for the last 4 years the community has been saying there will be a new game engine 'next year' it never arrives. It's like a coping mechanism lol
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@FG44141 Same with all gamers and games. We live in hope whilst being bent over😇😁
