I am pressing my brake pedal 49% but in game it doesn't do anything i have to press it to 50% for it to start working. This makes trailbraking really difficult

At first when you go into the settings to adjust the pedals/wheel do you have 2 diferent presets on? One for the wheel and another for the pedals (check image) as I do, if so I guess you know that when you want to adjust the settings (increase deadzone, sensibility etc...) you have to make a new scheme with both the wheel and the pedals settings so you end up with only one scheme instead of 2.The thing is you can choose to make this scheme from the wheel or the pedal preset, if you do so from the wheel preset, the pedals wont work properly but if you do so from the pedals preset the wheel ffb and overall behaviour will be horrendous. I have also tried from the keyboard preset but it makes both pedals and wheel fail, I had this same issue last game, nothing seems to fix it. Seems that only the original device from the preset works properly, the rest of them dont. It would be as simple as allowing us to use 2 different schemes instead of forcing to 1 if we wanna change the settings

Found this topic because I was having the same problem.Don't know if you guys are still having this problem, but I managed to fix it. So I thought I'd share my solution here.I had just installed my new Fanatec setup, brake didn't register any input until probably around 50% pressed.I am using the CSL pedals LC kit and play on PS5.What fixed it for me was connecting the LC pedal to the pc with the provided cable and updating the firmware of the pedal to the newest version.(If you try this, keep in mind that you have to disconnect the pedal from the wheelbase (take out the RJ12 cable)As I said, idk if it helps anyone, but I hope it does. 🙂

@BadMayh3m its not a deadzone, when you first create the scheme it works properly, once you save it and start driving the pedals start doing weird things, its like the moment you save the new scheme it starts failing

@BenSmith3445 I had similar issue with different set of pedals in F1 22.What fixed my issue was binding again Brake and Throttle pedals, but make sure to press it hard so it records all travel

No luckAm I the only one still having this issue? Has anyone found a fix?I'm thinking it might be time to refund tbh, I don't think it's worth the hassle haha

@Pabloonisaia switch to manual mode and calibrate your pedals manually, so it should also work in the game. What are the settings in the game?

Depends if the schema then has empty or null values for what would be double-mapped controls.
I've always gone the way of ignoring the error message and modifying the wheelbase preset with the input from the pedalset.
The issue here is really the game not registering the pedal travel correctly but ensure the pedalset is updated with the newest driver from Fanatec (450) and any pedal firmware before adding to the wheelbase schema.

@SteveJackson Updating fanatec drivers doesnt solve anything, I tried that last year and the only thing the new drivers did is changing how my pedals behave, had to get used to them from 0

@SteveJackson they do, im now using older software but it seems the change to the behaviour of my pedals is permanent. Either way, thats not what we are here for, i still have the issue with the schemes :/

@Pabloonisaia It's weird your Brake force and the place your brake starts to work are the same number....50%.
Sure your not setting a deadzone?

Lucas Blakley has done a F1 23 setup vid which includes his Fanatec settings.....might help
