Another week without news ....This is getting ridiculous!
4 months after release the team is still not able to solve a problem with the CORE functionality of the software!
I am working in software development an I know what can be done in 4 months.
So I know this can only mean on of these:
1) There is no team working on bugfixing AT ALL! There are just devs coding for other games already, that take a F1 23 ticket, only when they have time for it. This would mean EA is not interested in investing dev time to fix bugs, but instead urges them to write new buggy software as fast as possible to sell it.
2) The devs have no idea what to do. I am almost certain, there is no one in the team that understands the relevant code at all. So it takes time .. and time .... and time ..... and gets forgotten .. until it appears again in F1 24 ....
3) It is really heavily complicated and involves support from Thrustmaster devs, which I know, is time consuming. But wait, not a singe other racing game has this problem ... I can not be so complicated ... except the code was crap form the start.
Again, this is not some wrong calculated race result or points, or a wrong car livery. This is a CORE feature of this software. In our engineering software company where I work, we would almost get close to involve the legal department.....
@EA_rephii Can we please get an update on this ASAP?
