It's crazy, I literally just had the exact same thing happen to me on Xbox Series S. For me, it was after the Checkpoint Challenge at France. Game crashes after the Start screen. constantly ever since.
When i choose a different account, it starts up fine.
@EA_Groguet to clarify, this happens after completing Stage 3 (Checkpoint Challenge at France) of the Supercars Cockpit Cam Series. After the race, in the results screen, the game crashes and afterwards crashes whenever you press the Start button and you choose the account.
It only seems to affect the account that completed the Series, the other accounts on my console still work.
Platform: Xbox Series S
Bug summary: After completing Stage 3 (Checkpoint Challenge at France) of the Supercar Cockpit Cam Series in the F1 World mode, the game crashes. After that, whenever you start the game, after pressing the Menu button the game crashes whilst connecting to the Online Services. When I go offline, I can start the game, but as soon as I connect with the Online services the game crashes. This issue is limited to the account on which you completed said event. On other accounts, starting the game is still possible.
Mode: Single Player - F1 World - Series - Supercar Cockpit Cam - Stage 3
Replication steps: -Unlock the Supercar Cockpit Cam Series in F1 World
-Complete Stage 3 of the Supercar Cockpit Cam Series
-after the crash, Restart the game on the same account.
What do you expect to see: The game starting without crashing
Troubleshooting tried: Uninstalling and reinstalling the game + deleting all Save data for the game.
I have the same problem, can't play the game anymore in online modus. When playing offline in steam I get the main menu but not when trying to connect to the ea servers. Also for me it happened after the cockpit challenge in france with control points. Did a reinstall of the game but that didn't help. So it seems soemwhere on server side there's an issue.
This needs to get fixed asap. I’m happy it’s not just an isolated issue with me.
