Hori racing wheel no force feedback

Product: F1 23
Platform:Xbox Series X
Please specify your platform model. Microsoft Xbox Series X
Summarize your bug No force feedback
What is your 16 digit Report Code?
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider?
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use a hori steering wheel
What happens when the bug occurs? No force feedback
What do you expect to see? For it to work

So I played f1 21,22 and had no problems with my xbox series x hori racing wheel, but I play f1 23 and I dont get force feedback at all, it still registers all the pedals and steering completely fine.

I'm glad I bought the normal version and not payed 90 pounds for the championship version, it's in the 5 hour trial, which I hope it's just a small bug and when the game actually comes out it'll work fine like it has for the past 2 games.

But when will it be fixed? It is just a shame how long this takes. I paid 100 euros for the game, my wheel is supported and I habe still no FFB. That's not the way how the Devs should behave towards the community.

If you answer my question there is more chance of it being taken into consideration.

Hi @SteveJackson, it seems to be when you load into any sort of driving. Force feedback is there in menu, garage and when the lights are going out but as soon as the game gives you the ability to drive there is a loss of all force feedback in the wheel. It's very strange and I'm being very patient for the fix.

Have you tried turning the wheel lock to lock before you assume control?

Have you tried unplugging and replugging the wheel in game (a la Thrustmaster)?

Just trying to establish commonality with known issues, thanks. 👍

@SteveJacksoni have tried both of those solutions and it hasn't fixed anything. I hope this information helps you👍🏼

Hopefully there is another solution, if not I can wait for another patch hopefully.

  • It is 2025 and the bug with no Force Feed back has not been fixed. Mine is Logitech G Pro racing wheel and it works OK in iRacing but not in F1 24. Very frustrated.
