Same here, made another post related to this issue yesterday as I experience a couple of different fps problems alongside these night race drops.
My framerate drops to 30 in wet conditions and instant replay then becomes unusable as it takes the fps down to 5. Weirdly, it's able to maintain 30fps in instant replay as long as I'm looking at the rear wing. What the hell is this?😂
My fps also takes huge dips whenever the white smoke/dust effect appears on the screen.
And of course, the night lighting and wet weather effects surrounding the rear of the car looks extremely pixelated as shown by the videos posted in the thread. Messing with the game's settings does nothing to remedy any of these problems.
Same here.
I am using a bit underpowered hardware but it works in the daytime. I have 50-60 fps with medium to high settings at 1440p.
The fps instantly drop at one point when it change from day to night (to 30-35 fps). I also see that weird misty/pixelated effect at the horizon.
Using the ultra low preset does not really change it. I have lower fps with ultra low preset in the nighttime than with high preset during day.
