Mick is a good idea. He is no Formula 1 legend, but I like him and would take him as teammate in My Career.

Yes we know it is written in some stores where they are selling F1 23. It is Mansell, Chadwick, Maldonado and Kobayashi

I am not happy with the 4 Icon Drivers. Except Mansell no one of them had a great career.

Why are the reserve drivers not licensed? Then we would have Ricciardo and Schumacher in the game.

I would have thought Mick and Daniel might be included as "icons" because they still exist in FIA so their license holds. Nigel and Pastor would be the official icons personally I would love to see Juan Montoya (if he isn't already I can't remember) But Jamie deserves to be included for W Series 3 times champion, so a BIG thank you for Codies bringing her.

I would like to think Tatiana Calderon would be included, but another BIG thank you Codemasters for not only adding a female story mode character in Callie, but making the character available as another female icon. I would also LOVE to see (hint hint codies) an exclusive icon pack for the top F1 Academy drivers that are under license such as: Carrie Schreiner, Marta Garcia, Nerea Marti, Abbi Pulling and the Al Qubaisi sisters. Hell, why not drop in Chloe Grant, Bianca Bustamente too :P I think this is going to be the best F1 game yet.

Now then, where's my wallet, I booked 2 weeks off work end of June 😉

Mansell makes perfect sense, just hoping the FPS doesn't drop trying to render his moustache!

The others I didn't expect though. I'm happy about Kobayashi as I've always been a fan of. Not really happy about Maldonado and get the feeling he's a bit of a meme addition.. 

Chadwick is even more surprising. I'm happy she's in the game but not happy she's being added as an icon. Should have just been added alongside F2 drivers instead of taking a spot. A spot that could have gone to Seb or Kimi or Danny.

I hope in vein that reserves might be in the base game as that would mean Ricciardo, Mick, Giovinazzi and Vandoorne getting in but not holding my breath.

Now I wonder whether or not we'll get all the icons from 22 will be returning, and whether or not Rosberg will be among them as well. And whether or not we can use them as our player driver this time like many have been asking.

Edit: A thought that crossed my mind is with Braking Point looking like it covers 2022 as well, could Seb, Ricciardo and Mick be in the career modes as well since they'll be present in the game. I know it wasn't the case in 21 but one can hope.

Interesting point. I bet EA might release several icons packs and you can bet if the drivers you mentioned are not available in the game, Seb and Kimi will come as an added DLC further along. Can't wait to see the youtubers when they get early copies for influencing, then we will be able to see pretty much what to expect.

Nigel Mansell is awesome, chadwick also great to have some fem Power. I hope there will be better options in the future for further Icons and game modes or possibilities to race as Icons. Would be cool to have an icon race like they had in 2013, but maybe with current teams or iconic liveries (not classic cars). Why not have senna, Mansell, Prost, piquet in one race, would be nice to have some relive Team battles
