I would love it if someone had a method of working out what AI level changes we should be making between qualifying and the race. Practice sessions used to be helpful but not on this game. If I qualify on 104, at some tracks I will be able to compete in the race at that number but then at other tracks it is impossible. I know we as players have stronger tracks than others so that does make a difference. But I just want a tried and tested formula where I can be confident in saying that if I qualify on 104, I can turn down the difficulty to 102 and just set that for the season, as just an example.
Any help/tips greatly appreciated.

@DRudd13Ai is easier this year is all I know. How much? I’m not sure maybe as much as 20 points

@Lwilson97I think once you get over 100AI the straight line speed of the AI cars starts to get too OP. They are not much better in corners but on straights they are too fast. At 105 and up, tracks like Bahrain and Spa are ridiculous. I have to run the lowest downforce settings to have a chance on the straights and even then they can still be hard to pass with ERS and DRS enabled. Second problem with that is now my corners speeds suffer because of the low downforce.
100AI is a fun experience for me at this point. If I want a challenge anywhere between 103-105 is good. Over 105 is frustrating with the straight live speed advantage of the AI.
I wonder if the AI use the default setup selected for a given track. I would like to know what wings the AI use. - ScarDuck142 years agoLegend@Hansenhaus I’m not even sure the Ai have a setup. I think they might just go as fast as they are coded to
- Meza9942 years agoSeasoned Ace@ScarDuck14 I can confirm that i can not confirm this haha changing the drag of the cars has direct influence on how fast the AI will go so they are not hard coded to certain speeds
