I became disgruntled with codemasters F1 Games after 2020.
After reading a lot of replies about the state of this game, it seems i will give it a miss for another year.

Just so I don't end up underselling it, the handling model has greatly improved. The FFB on controllers as well – on wheels... nah, I wouldn't bother setting up my rig just to play F1.
The career modes? They're grievously neglected and it's been like this for quite a while now.
Our single player star @ScarDuck14 is give you a better overview of the state of things. I'd value his take even higher than my own. As I said, I think F1 stopped making sense for career modes around F1 2021 unless you put significant stock in the handling, new tracks or new car textures.
Even AI behavior took a downturn.
To be fair. As I’ve said in other posts. I get frustrated playing career modes because I’ve played careers for thousands upon thousands of hours. Especially when it comes to My Team I’m pretty sure I’ve started a my team career using every possible starting combination. Using every power train along with every possible combination of answers to the questions. Except I’ve never picked powertrain as the standout star. Hmm interesting. So I know what to I should see from the game on and off track as career progresses. On track issues are obviously most frustrating. I can pretty much predict everything the game will throw at me to ruin an hour racing when I’ve not put a wheel wrong. The game punishes you for consistently doing well. Especially if it’s over multiple races. Best thing I think to do in a career is start first handful of races finishing at back or not at all. Problem I have is all my best tracks are first half of the season.
However all that being said. If you’re only planning on starting and playing through a single career once, Then most of the the issues your likely to notice is if you’ve listened to my whining posts.
