lapped cars during safety car

at this point EA and Codies are a joke. I'm doing a career mode with 100% races, meaning that lapped cars are very regular, especially in the final laps of the race if there wasn't a safety car. thing is, if there is anyone lapped and the safety car comes out, they need to stay in the queue and can't unlap themselves, which causes alot of chaos at the restart as they have to let the whole field by, and it makes the rest of their race pointless as the car ahead of them is a lap ahead anyways. I did my spanish gp today, lap 52, safety car came out, I was on fresh mediums in p13, lapped by verstappen in p1, praying he would pit so I was unlapped, well, he didn't, so at the restart I had to let everyone from p12 and higher past, but then I was much faster then those cars ahead because they were on very old tyres, so the final laps were a mess with me and some cars behind me overtaking the cars that were a lap ahead, but then having to give the position back again. I could've easily gotten up to p9 or p8, but couldn't because the rule isn't in the game

EA and Codies need to change this asap. It has always been like this and idk why they're not doing anything about it. it ruins the race for those who are lapped and you can basically retire if you're outside the points.
