Logitech G923 Strange noises

What fix are you referring to? The behavior is intended and Trueforce is a feature of Logitech wheels, which has been enabled with the latest patch. There is no fix planned, as this is working as intended. 

Could you elaborate your request for a fix?

I've been testing for several hours overnight, and with both values of Trueforce below 10, starts to ease the unconfortable noise, (Still there, but is somewhat confortable, for me at least)

But the other part of the issue is the intensity of the ffb. With any value avobe 10 the ffb as a whole is way too intense. as if the desk wanted to run away from my room.

Tweaking some values in-game to reduce the intensity of the ffb makes the car more confortable to drive, (with ridiculous low values as it's shown in picture 2) and any value above those, the behaviour comes back, and the intensity is on the roof again.

Another thing that i've noted, even with the wheel center force at 100 (tested in ghub, and in-game) the wheel is ultra light, as it doesn't have any resistance at all.

I've tried a lot of values combinations, and the behaviour is the same, no center force at all.

I've reinstalled the game, reinstalled g-hub, same results.

I'm on PC (steam), and i really don't know what else can i test to make the wheel feels connected to the car.

Also, i've participated in the last 2 closed betas, and the car felt really good, and fun to play (that's why i bought it), and it felt great and enjoyable with te default settings, before patch 1.05.

Now it doesn't, and having to juggle values ​​is exhausting really (6 hours straight testing all this)

Perhaps is discussion for another thread (and not for the noise thread), but I couldn't find a combination of values, that all the components of the force feedback worked (one thing started working, and other stopped, and so on)

Just sharing all the testing that i've done in the last 6 hours, if someone want to do more testing about it, or have the same issues i've encountered, please let me know.

Please can there be a way in which we can disable trueforce on PlayStation? This is because it is completely damaging my desk and underside of the wheel the force feedback is way to much at the moment 

before the patch it was perfect and I’m certain that every single person that has the wheel does not enjoy the Trueforce at the moment. 
If there is a way in which the rumbling and vibrating can be stopped or even lowered then please tell me asap because it’s preventing me from playing the game

Currently, there is no option to disable Trueforce on PlayStation. 
Could you try and adjust your Audio levels / force feedback settings and see if that improves it? 

No matter how low I put the audio effects it is still the exact same as when on 100. However when I put it on 0 it all disappears, but I loose all the sound on the game and can’t hear anything. 
Is there no way in which you can just revert whatever you did on the latest patch. Please try and get this done because everyone is complaining.

Mate there is no way what we can hear and feel is how it’s intended. This is going to break the wheel There’s clear grinding sounds in the wheel and it’s way too loud and moving no matter what settings we adjust. The wheel was better before the patch and is still in drivable all of us have said so. So that isn’t a solution it’s an excuse 

We NEED the option to disable TRUEFORCE the game is ruined with it and I can’t play, if this isn’t fixed or an option to disable it then I want a refund I haven’t been able to play the game since this new update it’s a joke

This guy is 100% correct this is an identical issue to me and I’m losing my patience with this we haven’t been able to play the game we paid for for ages now it’s not acceptable we need either an option to disable TRUEFORCE, undo the last patch or a refund simple as

thank you for the update, much appreciated.

However, what is happening to the wheel can never ever be intentional by trueforce. If people continue to play with the settings before 1.06 they will break their wheel. I hope you can convey that message to your partner (I presume Logitech) and in the meantime: please introduce the option to switch off trueforce on a PS in the next patch. 

Guys at EA, please please please undo whatever you did in the previous patch. The guy is right the issue is way to serious and concerning to say that it’s meant to be happening. There is a clear grinding sound and when going over curbs it’s way way way to noisy. There is already scratches all over my desk because of it and I only played for 4 hours ! This needs to be sorted asap or else I will be asking for a refund because this is beyond a joke now. Surly it can’t be that hard to undo something that you did on the patch. I was doing nothing but giving you guys credit for making a really great game! But now I can’t play it and it’s really frustrating all of us. Once again thanks for the continued support 

Yeah completely correct and summarised what’s wrong it’s just frustrating that they’re ignoring this issue by saying it’s supposed to be working like this when it CLEARLY isn’t so somthing needs to change

Yep completely correct again, it’s been 5 days now which is extremely frustrating! If they are covering this up then I am going to be really disappointed. Please EA just undo what you did and it will be all fine again!

Yeah honestly it’s a joke tho and you shouldn’t have had to return you wheel but it’s EA’s fault and they won’t do anything about it. Shambles!

EA surly there has to be a fix for this, and how can you post that the issue has been resolved when it clearly has not! Come on EA please 

@Calum_Lyons06 @Some guy on EA live chat said it’s gonna be sorted in the next patch (which i guarantee it won’t be) and when I asked when it is he said in the “coming days” then I said narrow it down because that could mean a year for all I know then he said “few weeks” it’s a joke I’ve had enough and want a refund and I can’t this is a shambles
