@BanOlyYep Baku and Mexico are seriously low grip circuits this year. Plus many including myself have reported since the game released that there’s an issue with Full TC when exiting slow corners. However the dev team say they have extensively tested the issue and they can’t find anything wrong.
It using controller. Go to controller calibration and increase steering speed to 160 and steering linearity and deadzone to 5 give or take a couple of clicks. It won’t get rid of the problem but it should help. Also try to get into the habit of not going max acceleration out off 1st and 2nd gear corners until your front wheels are completely straight. Especially on tracks where rear tyres wear faster than fronts. When tyre wear is reaches 20% there’s a considerable loss of grip. In instances where the rears reach the drop off before the fronts. The front tyres will still have considerable grip. If any steering angle is applied out off slow corners as your add power the rears lose traction but the fronts bite into the track and causing the car to pivot and over rotate.
Sorry can’t be off any more use. But neither the low grip off Baku and Mexico won’t be addressed in this game and obviously neither will TC
Tyre wear and grip physics in this years game were changed using direct input from real F1 teams to be closer to how actual F1 tyre wear. So I personally think TC wasn’t optimised properly to adjust for less grip from both tyres and lower surface grip off some tracks
Well you've identified the problem there, developers with a much greater understanding of the game (and likely also used to playing without Traction Control) testing something that is meant to be played by even the least-skilled of players. Of course they're not going to find an issue.
It's hard with controller to hit an exact percentage of the throttle, but I have been trying to refrain from going full throttle out the exit of corners, and at all other tracks it's fine. I sometimes get the engine stutter sound that is so common when using Full TC but usually I just take it carefully and don't jog the steering too aggressively. On the other tracks this works out okay, but at Baku and Mexico it continues even if I don't increase the throttle above ~50%
I appreciate the control suggestion, I might give them a try but tbh I'm not the best player anyway as you might've guessed and I'm starting to feel more and more every year like they are supporting less-skilled players less and less. TC has felt awful the last two years (F1 2021 was absolutely perfect imo and what got me into the video game series), there were some improvements made this year over 22 for sure but not enough to make me feel like I want to invest time to get better.

Anyone who uses manual gears even the elite e-sports guys rarely drop below 3rd gear. I use pad with auto gears that will always change down to 1st and 2nd in slow corners. But you can manually shift up when accelerating and the revs are high enough.
Also if you haven’t already I’d suggest increasing throttle linearity, I have it at 100% which gives you a little more travel and control when using trigger. - ScarDuck142 years agoLegend@BanOly Problem i find with game developers is the only players they tend to get feedback from during a game’s development are the likes off E-sports pros that all use high end Sim rigs that cost thousands. And are so good even blindfolded they are better than the average player on pad.
I put up to 900 hours into every years game using a pad. Most of the time testing and trying to find solutions to issues pad players post on here. Pad players are the majority of the player base. But as most are casual players they won’t tend to notice when something isn’t right. Whereas as those with SimRigs being more dedicated sim racers and notice the tiniest issues and report it. But still alot off issues they report go unfixed,
