Motorsport Games (MSG) does not get much love in the industry. Context:
Deservedly so? That depends.
- Some read those signs and writings just to conclude sheer incompetence (example)
- Others see malice and a literal scam in their practices (example)
Either way, I only hope that Studio 397 (rFactor2) gets salvaged from this trainwreck somwhoe and that Traxion reemerges from the ashes – those fellas were Good. The Australian crew that made KartKraft seems to have been axed already. Other than those, I really don't care about MSG so can't say I'm sad that a bad company, either out of incompetence or malice, gets smacked around.
Also interesting as it sheds a light on how a licensor and licensee business relationship pans out:

Be nice if Codies picked up the BTCC license.. Another TOCA game would be awesome

Related, but not related but the amount of layoffs from game developers is frankly quite depressing. After the pandemic, the industry seemed to be bullet proof but mass redundancies everywhere at the moment is awful to see. Could we see redundancies at Codemasters? EA have been shifting personnel around and F1 23 hasn't been well received in terms of feedback and maybe even in sales targets.

@TotosHeadphones @mariohomoh has all the sales information. He sent it to me earlier but went all over my head…. You’ll love it 😂
