My Team ai inconsistent
The my team ai is broken. Ill run 99 at spain but 78 at miami. And on top of that the qualy to race is conpletely inconsistent. Also it seems that the ai drivers get better as the seasons go on where...

@SDC111407I have a topic already open about the AI from quali to race, it's fairly well established now that ppl either find them about the same between sessions or have to dial them down for the race, depends on personal inclination to being a great 1 lap person or consistent in races, plus what setup you're using.
The track to track issue though is nowhere near that bad. Last years game there was some noticeable fluctuation at certain tracks were AI were either suddenly OP or really slow but nothing like the difference you're experiencing. If you're 99 at Spain but down to 78 at Miami I would suggest Miami is where your problem is. Either go back to the suggested setup if not using already or put in some good long practice time there.
I've not long done miami season 1 myteam, car is like 3 from bottom and yet on 104 I was too fast and qualified near the front with the suggested setup, and I am NOT that fast at this game for someone who plays it as much as I do lol. Dialled it back to 97 for the race and got gobbled up by AI lol. Ran exact same numbers at the track before and had similar results so seems fairly consistent track to track.
It must be known that i also play with i fair amount of assists (traction control, abs and racing line) so i dont know if that plays a factor
- @SDC111407 It does play a factor. Imagine a scenario where you are playing against an AI that is perfectly balanced for your pace. If you use TC and ABS you will be, by default, better than that AI in braking zones and worse than that AI in traction zones. Depending on the track you would be faster or slower than the theoretical equal AI.
I'm not judging btw, I use the exact same assists. In my mind, I play a roleplaying game where I just assume that I'm better in some tracks than others like every other driver. - @SDC111407 Yeh ABS hinders you massively, if you know roughly when to break you really don't need it, It'll slow you down if you get too close to another car or wall on a straight, its actually poo.
I've turned it off recently and i've cut a second on most of my laps today.
