Alpine as well this year get +10 on pace. I'm honestly amazed at how they thought a permanent increase of stats at such a high number was a good idea. Season 1 race 1 we have 5 drivers performing at 100 pace, reason why we're seeing Norris racing Alonso despite the car difference and also why Alonso is consistently behind the Merc's and Ferrari's that he's been beating all year. Get a tier 3 facility, which is easily done by season 2, and you have 13 drivers, not including icons or drivers with stats who eventually hit 85 like Piastri and Pourchaire. Albon, Gasly and Perez perform at the same level as Max and we all know what really happened.. shows how bad the feature is. Even from solely a gamer perspective, why would you spend 20mil to get Max or Lewis when you can spend half of that and get Yuki or Albon that perform at 100 pace as well? It's such a poorly implemented feature that I really can't understand how it ever got approved in the first place.
To me, it would be common sense that a +10 increase would be a single race boost and the permanent increase would be +1/3/5 but for some reason it's the other way around.
It's so frustrating since we've been telling them about it since the dominant Bottas days of 2020 and they're still leaving them in as broken as ever.
Extra frustrating that this could be an awesome career mode with how close the cars are now but they've decided to ruin it with the big steaming dump of a feature in the facility boosts. On top of that, it could literally take them minutes to fix by nerfing the numbers.
Or they could make them My Team teammate only, or put an option to disable them for all teams, a stat editor so we could manually reduce the stats by 5 or 10 depending on the team they're with.. so many potential solutions and.. they just leave it there ruining career mode for the fourth year running.
