@V-Sabbath-V I hope you’re right I honestly do and I honestly hope they fix it. All I am saying is don’t discount the idea it’s on your end.
Problem is not many have the opportunity to have a VR Sim setup so less people to report issues which has a knock on effect where not enough people report issues to make it a priority for Codemasters to fix.
You are right though patches tend to create more bugs than they fix.

Ea's M.O. ScarDuck they bring out a game that works for a few weeks, then they patch it and it no longer works. I can still play F1 22 in VR with Virtual Desktop but after playing F1 23 the handling in F1 22 is pretty dire.
The internet is littered with problems with steering wheels not working, FFB not working. TBH the only person I am mad at is myself, allowing myself to be hoodwinked by this sham of a company .... AGAIN.
