@mariohomohHave they addressed the lack of RPM/Rev Light support in the game?
I’m getting full FFB and am also seeing RPM/rev lights as of this week’s update (patch notes said this patch addressed Logitech Pro support, I believe)
This will probably not be patched as EA announced today they're not planning on enabling the Trueforce SDK for f1 23 anymore. Devs on Xbox relied on that SDK to enable extra buttons and RPM lights.
The limited FFB strength with the Pro Wheel affected all platforms and that should have been rectified as of patch 1.10.

I play with a Logitech G923 wheel. In my opinion, the trueforce is poorly optimized in this game. You don't feel it like in GT7 or ACC.

Where was this shameful betrayal of their Logitech customers announced?- mariohomoh2 years agoHero (Retired)
@Trekari It was announced here.
Hey, to be completely honest here, I don't like your tone when you unload your frustration aimlessly around here.
You'll be hard pressed to find anyone on this forum that is ok with how these things came out. Myself included: I think it's disgraceful that Trueforce wasn't enabled and working from day 1, and that Thrustmaster and Logitech wheels didn't have their peripherals fully supported frofrom the get-got's been two and a half months since release date and only now with patch 1.10 Logitech users with their Pro Wheels get to make use of the full FFB strength their product is capable of.
This is truly and undeniably unnaceptable. Add that to the many other issues this franchise has, many of which are present for 2+ iterations of these games, and you've got a contemptible state for a franchise that is dear to many loyal F1 fans out there.
But I'm not going to be harsh or unpleasant with the McDonald's cashier because I've got cold cheese on a hard bun, nor will I wish that they all get a hit on their paycheck.
I still believe it's not your intention to be grating towards CMs or first-line devs. But when you lump them all up with the big shots making all these sordid decisions and setting these crooked priorities for this franchise, you're just adding insult to injury here. Getting bad news is revolting enough without reading needless unpleasantness towards people that have absolutely nothing to do with the sorry state of F1 22.5.

@mariohomohThank you for the link.
My attitude is a reflection of EA's attitude towards us.
Every time an issue is raised with whichever 'suit' is making these decisions, it should have an asterisk next to it where said suit is informed that people are rightfully tired of major features not working properly for months at a time after launch, if ever. That they are rightfully angered that patches are released without testing whatsoever, evident by the frequent issues they claim to have fixed which are immediately proven to not be so. That they are rightfully angered at the ineptitude displayed by the people programming this game to where basic things like force-feedback, and volumetric fog don't even work right.
If you specifically mean my post to which you replied, what part do you think I need to apologize for? It IS shameless to turn around and abandon a major hardware manufacturers major features. It IS a betrayal of their customers who use those products and expect it to be properly supported because they are listed as being so.
The people responsible don't show their faces around here. Nobody apologizes for any of it. Hell, even the announcement today about the Trueforce issue doesn't contain the word 'sorry' anywhere.
When they decide to act like customer satisfaction and quality control are actually serious priorities, then you'll see my criticisms lessen.
