@ScarDuck14 Danni Ric! Next season. By putting him in the AT seat, they have sawed 3 legs of Checo’s chair and set fire to the 4th.
Checo is done in my opinion (IMO in modern speak?). If Rico performs and scrapes a few points together he’ll be in the second Red Bull next year. Otherwise they might have a chat with Sainz. His last Instagram posts highlighted he is not a happy bunny at Ferrari. Strategy is a total mess there.
Helmut Marko is not happy with the performance of the whole AT team. It has already been announced Tost is moving on next year. So they’ll put Lawson and Iwasa in the seats next year, with new team management.
And yes, some people might have contracts till 2028, but we all know that in F1 they are not worth the paper they are printed on. Driver salaries are not part of ‘the Cap’, so companies with deep pocket will just pay a driver to sit at home.
Just my brain waves….

@peter75pc They favour Charles so heavily at Ferrari cause he's the closest thing to an Italian driver right now. It makes you feel so bad for Carlos after some of the crap they've pulled lately, not letting him pass in Austria when he was clearly faster and now at Silverstone letting him stagnate on Hards.
Yes he complains a lot but he has every right with the way they've treated him.
Maybe they've already decided to move on and thats why this is happening, they could be eyeing Bottas because he's at Alfa Romeo after all.
