Am I the only Auto transmission player struggling with this?
I have spent too much time trying to get the Helmet like close to 4 hours overall!
Not a big fan of the track and normally play My team or Career and Even cars are different.
10.800 is the best I've done so far.....so close yet so far away😢
Any words of wisdom gang?
Same here, can't beat the time either to get the helmet. I am a console controller player cause I don't have any space for a full wheel setup. Feels to me like this is not as easy on controller compared to playing on a wheel cause of the traction you have out of some of the corners. I know controller players have beaten the time but I just can't do it yet.
I think they should make the challenges so that at least everyone can get the helmets or special liveries no matter what kind of skill or setup you have. Or for the players that can't beat the time at least give them the option to buy the helmet with pitcoins through the ingame store. Goes also for all the liveries and helmets that has been released previously. Missed out on them like the miami livery and helmet, mclaren livery, all because I bought the game a few months after release. They should keep those challenges in game at all time not depending on when the actual event is. Not fair in my opinion to people that buy the game at a later date and also want to have those liveries as being fans of F1. Also why are certain liveries timed like the current Ferrari one and others you keep period? (Williams, Alfa livery?) I like the current Ferrari one more personally then the base 2023 livery. Also the option should be there to use all unlockable liveries in every mode not just F1 world in my opinion.
Why would the devs not listen to the majority of the community that is asking for things I mentioned like making special liveries and helmets available through the store with pitcoins? And make liveries selectable in all modes not just F1 world. I get they want to push that mode cause it is new but let the players choose where they want to use the liveries. That should not be so difficult to put in the game I think. Also why can't I find any reason or explanation for those things not being added to the game. Even for a company like ea that is a strange move cause they would be able to earn money from making those things available through the store.
I just put in 2 hours again. It is getting really annoying. My fastest time so far is a 1:11:106. Just have no traction at all out of some corners. Even tried different setups. Especially sector 2 is not good. Still missing half a second at least. Why they not give all players a change to get it. This is crazy. Wasn't it back at austria when even a silver time got you the unlockables?

There is some progress, got into the 1:10 (1:10:949). But still far away, more then 3 tenths a lap. I just feel this is a bit to much, having max setting that lap on a wheel setup. Yes I know he probably still went much slower then he could actually go but still. They should keep controller players that are casually playing this game also in mind. Not just pro players that are also good on either wheel or controller. I just can't turn of traction control and abs cause for me that is not doable. I gain time mostly in the first sector but then lose most of my time after the scheivlak corner and out of the last chicane and second to last corner and the straight. I go full throttle through the arie luyendijk corner but the ghost just pulls away on straight line speed. Tried a bunch of setups already but just can get close but yet so far away still. It gets annoying and very frustrating by now.
@Feyenoordfan84I found if I wasnt green after the 4th corner hill it was basically over for me.
Dont know the names of the corners but the next 2 braking turns after the hill you cant brake, just let off a little...took awhile to figure that out.
Also due to another thread I change my Steering sensitivity to 160, Steering linerty(sp) to 2 and Brake linerty(sp) to 35...

@BadMayh3m changing the steering sensitivity helped tremendous!! Didn't know about that at all. And also lifting instead of breaking turn 3, staying on the inside of turn 4 instead of outside, lifting in the scheivlak and turn after that helped. Finally got it with a 1:10:525. Was constantly up through the first two sectors but had trouble with the last corner going on the straight with the line speed. Got it in a few tries after your suggestions. Thanks again!!!!
