I can also confirm that, after 3 sessions, I have not seen the pause menu come up unannounced since switching to full screen. I suspect, although do not have evidence to confirm, that the underlying issue still exists but in full screen it cant drop focus so the symptom doesnt occur. Either way I'm happy to run in fullscreen (set the minimum resolution to reduce GPU load) as this has also allowed me to up my graphic settings to mostly medium (low mirror detail, low texture stream) while still maintaining a smooth 90FPS (11ms) @ 120% on my 5800X3D,3090,HPReverbG2. I may be able to push that higher with some more testing as my GPU is not at full load on these setting and the only stutters I get are in the pits, which was also happening on F1-22 regardless of settings.
I dont plan to continue testing for now since my time slots for actually playing the game are limited I want to actually get some racing done 😉
