RANDOMLY PAUSING IN RACE

Platform:PC

Summarize your bug Game randomly pauses for no reason
What is your 16 digit Report Code?
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? sky
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? i dont know how to find it as it happens randomly (could try swapping the pause button over to the esc key like i did)
What happens when the bug occurs? the game pause and brings up the menu
What do you expect to see? no pause menu

evening i keep getting a random error.. the game pauses for no reason at all and it always happens at a corner i was on brazil track in the Aston martin the only thing i changed is the pause menu button from default to esc on my keyboard. i turn off my keyboard when its not being used so its not being pressed iv no idea if I'm the only one with this issue hopefully someone knows something

@SoyNaana yes I confirm the same experience. F1-22/23 is the only VR game I have any issues with, even ACC which has many critics for it's poor VR works well for me (290h in VR). iRacing has always been the best VR optimisation for me but that's easier with the 90's style graphics in use in that sim (~200h in VR)

Yeah I feel like this should be running way better for me, gave to drop the resolution on my headset down to reach a decent fps, but don't have as many problems with ACC. I tried F1 22 last week as well at that was running perfectly on VR medium preset.
For F1 23, I did notice that GPU usage was only sitting at about 30%, surely this should be higher? Don't think I'm being bottlenecked as CPU was at about 40%.
Ryzen 5600x with a 3060 for reference

I am not in VR and it is still happening to me I’m very confused. I tried all the different things you all have said and still hasn’t worked. Please let me know if anyone knows a fix.
