Re: Custom League's dependencies for Racenet are terrible choice!!

I have exactly the same problem and have done since On Demand leagues were added. It means we can’t actually do a proper championship as half of our races are on stupid equal performance - can’t they just fix it to realistic performance when using real cars and let those who use “world car” have equal performance?!


It’s making us not want to bother playing the game at all as leagues is all we want to do!

@PaulMarrableCM please can you nag them again for us?


is it worth me setting up a “bug report” in the other section to get their attention?

    @timinator2014 So looks like when I was told the equal performance bug was fixed, it was actually a different bug that was fixed ☹️
    One where the equal performance was always off.

    I'll try and contact some people tomorrow, see what's going on.

    Yeah, I reckon setting up a bug report wouldn't hurt, getting more eyes on it can't be a bad thing.

    @PaulMarrableCM hi Paul, i am reporting king of a strange bug for me. In my league we are 5 humans and 15 AI. All five of us choose were placed to be the 2nd driver of our team so that we can keep the best driver as our teamates. Why then when we launch the game the driver are we all the first driver and need to switch driver choice in the lobby. That is something that could cause disrepencies in the standing if any body as to start later in the race weekend and then could not rejoins as the 2nd driver.

    The lack of updates here is slightly worrying. We are now 5 months after release and many of the additions that were announced quite a long time ago are nowhere to be seen or talked about anymore. Considering the Community Raised Issues thread has moved many issues to "Closed" stating that they will be "considered for future projects" and not fixed for F1 23, I fear we might face the same situation for the Leagues mode. Really hope this is not the case.

    @PaulMarrableCM any update on the situation? Any changes still coming in F1 23 or will we have to wait until next years game again?

    Dear Paul, 

    I have a league in EA racenet and i was wondering why i cannot edit the constructors results. 
    I have players being added mid season and they play in game with williams team but they are assainged in ea racenet on Ferrari. 
    unofrtunately i cnannot change the result of the team or change the team to that player. 

    Is there a solution to this?
    To have full control on selecting the team to each player in running season or to change the result of the constructions championship? 

    Please let me know

    @PaulMarrableCM It’s happened again I’m afraid Paul, presumably caused by the latest patch. It’s as though they fix one thing and break another every time there’s a patch. Same as before, we go into our league and Tsunoda/Zhou etc at the top of the timings :-(

    I think we can probably give up now. There is no point expecting them to do anything about the League mode for the rest of F1 23, probably also not for F1 24. Shame that they got our hopes up, promised certain changes / features and now cannot even keep those promises. Disappointed but not surprised.

    Hi Paul, do you think some of the improvements we’ve talked about this year will be ready for F1 24? I’m sure it’s been a difficult year moving over to racenet and with the bugs in the game etc but hopefully there is the basis of a very strong game mode in there if it can be done right and some of the ideas we’ve had can be incorporated in next years game
