Yes I know that. But the last time it happened was when I used flashback, the DRS stopped working after it for the whole race even the “beep” sound you hear doesn’t come up.

What controller are you using? Do you have a custom map?
In some instances a stuck button or drifting control will apply the brake and close the DRS (but you would still see the DRS control illustrated and hear the beep in the DRS zones).
In some situations as @Nuvolarix has mentioned, DRS is not enabled.
It's possible this is a bug, in Braking Point I have had situations where DRS has not been activated when crossing the DRS activation within 1 second of the car in front, particularly on backmarkers.
Try a default map if a custom one is enabled. Test the controls. Post back.
