Re: DRS OP

@Meza994 I was responding to the OP statement that Esport drivers would 100% agree not about the mechanic itself.
The racing is more entertaining the way it is.....guy 3rd in line passing 2 people and up to 5 people fighting for position.

Exciting stuff imo.

@BadMayh3m For Esports thats fair game but its still unrealistic and they could also easily overtake the years before, they just preferred not to waste ERS but this year they can probably not prevent overtaking because of the overspeed hahaha

Ideally Codemasters would do realistic dirty air and simplified dirty air for easier racing so all can be happy

@BadMayh3m E-sports drivers have already said they think drs is OP, I watched the full race, but more importantly you're comparing a group of very similarly skilled drivers all driving EQUAL SPEC CARS who only overtook each other in a nose to tail drs line. The issue is the drs effect on cars of significant performance difference. 2nd slowest car getting caught 1+second a lap by a much faster car should not then be able to just grab on to the faster cars drs when they overtake and start lapping at their pace.

If you watch the big youtubers play career mode you'll quickly see they're constantly saying they need drs, need to get "towed along" etc etc.
