@ScarDuck14 Out of all racing games, F1 is. But by F1s standard, it isn't. They are missing some quite few key features like having AIs scattered around in the race start etc.

@anirudh2313 Ai follow code. Humans don’t. You can’t expect Ai to be anywhere near the best drivers in the world. Skilled amateurs at best

F1 AI is pretty good overall since years imho, yes also a good AI can be improved, maybe it has been not improved too much in the last years, but still very addicting for me. I widely prefer it rather than playing casual online (unfortunately not possible for me to play serious leagues which may be further better experience)

@NuvolarixAll they had to do is reverted back to the general characteristic and pace of F1 2020's Ai, incorporate the spatial awareness of this year's Ai, do a bit of rework to make Ai more flexible on their positioning when stuck in traffic (like lap 1), and you get the best Ai in the market by a long long shot.

@Apophis-STR Its just not that simple, i for one found the AI in 2020 very easy to bully, same as this year, when you get near them in a corner, best example is China turn 1 they jump out of the way in a most unrealistic way.. Thats due to their spatial awareness and as we know Codemasters is not good at fine tuning things, so something which needs a fine margin like that can easily be too extreme

To me best would be 2022 aggressiveness but with more spatial awareness, closer to this year but also much smoother going out of the way if they feel like its too close, not moving 1m away within 0.2s but more like 0.5m in 0.5-1s time would feel much better. But most importantly them being more flexible on their position on the track making overtaking slow cars on lap 1 much better, but thats the most difficult part as they are trained to a single line..

@Meza994I race the Ai like how I would against people online, leaving them extra space just in case so usually the Ai in 2020 could actually commit to their line without backing off when side-by-side, they definitely are more willing to stay on their throttle compare to 23.

Compare to 22, while I do like how aggressive they are, the way they lock up during a dive bomb and then abruptly force their way back onto the racing line (at turtle speed) was just a bit too immersion-breaking for me. 2020's Ai characteristics in general were just much more natural and linear in comparison.
