Summarize your bug Initial launch doesn't recognize pedals (just like during the beta) and FFB is hit or miss.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I loaded the game and went to Time Trials. It happens immediately there.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game does not recognize the pedals or wheel, only the buttons. The FFB wasn't present either when I unplugged the USB and redid it.
What do you expect to see? Normal function.

On launch day this worked great for me even though I had lots of issues with my wheel set during beta. Turns out it was because I'd set my location to the UK rather than the US. But logging in today with US settings it was back with a vengeance. If I go back to UK settings, works like it should.

UPDATE: While playing this evening with the UK settings still on, everything stopped working and acted like it does with the US settings. I tried resetting them to the US and back to the UK, restarting my Xbox every time but to no avail.

Summarize your bug When in the menu force feedback is on but when racing it turns off for steering. I tried f1 2019 and it works just fine so the wheel is not broken. I have adjusted a bunch of settings too but the strength of the force feedback does not work.

Not going to sit here and hate on the game because the game itself seems like its heading in the right direction. I understand that it is very early in release however, I am feeling very let down after spending extra money for early access and barely being able to play. A racing game that has a major player base playing on wheel should not be having these issues. My friend who purchased the standard edition got to play for the first time today it worked straight away for them.

LEDS on G923 work, buttons work, pedals work. Just 0 Force Feedback. 

I have tried every game mode and it doesn't work in any.

I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled 3-4 times, I have restarted my PS5 hundreds of times and unplugged the wheel and plugged it back in probably more times.

I have tried everything to resolve this issues myself however I am just accepting that it won't be fixed until the first patch (if we are lucky).

Summarize your bug Force feedback issues with g923 wheel. On first start up the buttons on the wheel itself work however shift paddles and pedals don't. Then I turn the wheel off and then back on again (either through the xbox or unplugging USB input). Controls work after that but then its strange. It becomes a lottery between my shift lights working (never worked on previous f1 games not fussed about that) and the force feedback doesn't work at all. This then requires me to quit the game, Turn off wheel after starting the game back up and turning it on again. After that the force feedback will then work but shift lights don't. However this doesn't work every time sometimes I have to repeat this process 3-5 times. I don't care about the shift light just would like to be able to play with force feedback without having to reboot all the time. Firmware on wheel, game and xbox up to date.

What happens when the bug occurs? 1. No pedals or steering input. Scenario 1 after reboot - controls work, Rpm light work not force feedback Scenario 2 after reboot of game and wheel- Controls work, rpm lights don't work, force feedback works

I added all info I have. Hopefully you guys can find a solution soon as game is good but take 20 minutes to be actually able to start playing properly which is incredibly frustrating considering i spent a ridiculous $140 on the game. I saw on another post that it isn't helpful but the wheel has no issues on other games, including other codemasters games such as dirt 2.0 and f1 22.

Is there a chance of getting a refund for the extra $40 I spent to play the game early just for this bug to make that near impossible? It's my opinion that I paid for a service that didn't meet expectation set out but Ea/codies. I'm trying my luck here but $40 is a good amount of money I work for.

I have already mentioned this in 2 other post that we should get a refund on at least the champions edition difference.  i have tried to play the game but it really is unplayable like this  

I'm literally having the exact same problem... I don't understand why they can't make it work right, especially since I'm paying for the privilege of playing it early when the game is all but unplayable. I cannot get my force feedback to be dialed in. No matter what adjustments I make in the menu. It's unbelievably frustrating. 

on a logitech g932 wheel and i am getting absolutely minimal feedback when I have my vibration settings high. 

When are we getting a fix EA?!?

Summarize your bug When playing F1 2023 with Logitech G923 (upto Firmware) there is little to no FFB, when the FFB does work, it seems the pedals dont. (tested over a variety of game modes), Was also tested on 3 Series X's, The same issue was present across all of them. I tested the wheel on various others game on Xbox series X and PC and all of which worked perfectly fine, including F1 2022, so this isnt a wheel or firmware issue, the issue is only in F1 2023

I have seen a few posts on here and reddit regarding this issue, it seems the default response is "Update your firmware" or "make sure its not your console", i have taken the steps on both of these, the issue is still present and cleary its an issue with the F1 2023 game.

Same issue with the Xbox X and Logitech G920 tried everything updated firmware to latest version but nothing helps

I have same problems with the g pro wheel. Don’t count on ea to patch guys. They did one and it only fixed the lower model g29 g 920. But not the pro. Pro still very little force. Maybe 1/8 of a newton if that. I’m set at 11. Time to return for refund and by the dd pro from Fanatec

Still waiting for a patch aswell, I'm literally keeping an eye on the refund timer and if the issue gets fixxed at this point.
You can't buy time and this just wastes mine and many others. Specially with the new pricetag from an Triple A company I find this unacceptable.

You can't blame people for ranting, specially with the price increase of this years title, the problem lies with Early Access games making this the new norm, but this game is only valid for a year then it's on to the next one.

My friend owns g29 and it works fine. No issues at all. He’s on ps5. Just pro and 923 from what I’ve heard. 

How can EA launch a game without trueforce support and have paid reviewers on Fanatec wheels with pre-release version give great reviews of the game. These are outright false marketing activities. The target audience that pays for the game, 90% of them are on Logitech wheels including Logitech G Pro with trueforce, and to not have it implemented is such a big miss. I feel frustrated having ordered the championship addition to play 3 days in advance only to haev the trueforce not working.

In addition there are other bugs like not being able to move the OSD higher in Time Trial mode, the pictures on the game menu of drivers have lines on them by design, but look grainy, HDR 10 implemtation looks washed out. I am so dissapointed that dispite all the hype they keep launching beta products on consumers without proper testing.

An update on timescale if or when the implementation of a patch fix for the G923 wouldn’t go a miss please EA. 

I’ve done everything the “update” geezer has told us all a thousand times. 

Nothing more soul destroying than arranging a race with friends night after night just to sit in the stream twiddling my thumbs missing out on a social gathering due to these issues. 

hardcore f1 fan and the only game I tend to play so this is beyond annoying now!!! 

Acknowledging the issue is one thing. Updating your fans on progress of a fix is another.

I am having the same issues. I have a Logitech Pro and was so excited to play F1 with great force feedback. Instead nothing works. Basically no feedback even with everything up to max.  Then in these random corners (same 3 corners each lap) the thing tries to break my wrists mid corner. Obviously the FFB “turns on”. But it only lasts for half a second and then reverts back to nothing. 

Talk about insanely disappointing. It’s staggering the lack of care that they have for their paying customers.
