I cant get my logitch g27 to work... how annoying.
Other than that, I am baffled that they did such a poor job with the menus... Why on earth can we not navigate the UI using left/right wheel and gas, brake , clutch or even paddle inputs? Would make navigating the menus while wearing an HMD so much more easy and intuitive.
Xbox series X user here. Ever since the game came out, my console shuts down after ‘press start menu’, but I can play any other game just fine. Haven’t been able to get into the menu of the game since release.
Anyone have this happen before and fix it?
Can the issue be hardware related if I’m able to play F1 22 and other games currently?
Hope the G923 issue is fixed by the time I can get into the game..
So the patch this morning helped me out considerably with my G923 on my Xbox S. If you wait to plug the wheel in until you're where you want to race within the game not only does the FFB kick in but the server connection issue that develops 10-12 minutes later seems to be resolved. I've been doing Time Trials off and on all morning and haven't had a single issue so far. Hope you all have the same luck!
My G923 on PS5, which was working yesterday, appears to now not be working.
whenever I start TT the car sharply turns left, and the FFB just follows a pattern of how it operates which is almost identical lap after lap.
My wheel works fine with other games (I.e. grid legends) but it’s gone to pot with F1 23 and it undrivable!
any adivce?
@sefadinho23 I had the same problem where the wheel's engine makes weird noise which is not only incredibly annoying but also undrivable. Kerbs are also very responsive
Don't think this is gonna be fixed anytime soon especially if the next patch is coming in late july. My recommendation is to just use a controller or buy a new wheel.
Wouldn’t a simple solution not just be to switch true force back off by rereleasing the software for wheels which actually worked…
Seems unbelievably simple. At least some users then get their functionality back!
it’s simply not good enough to have the game broken by an untested patch and say “we ain’t gonna fix it for 6 weeks”
@sefadinho23 I don't know which logitechs work, as some people's have been working while other's haven't. Other brands like fanatec and simucube have been working fine, and thrustmaster only has minor issues, but I'm not really educated in the subject.
And to think they have a f1 driver using the Logitech wheels in the commercials playing f1 23.. you'd think this would be a priority to get solved. Just to save face at the very least. They are literally advertising a product working on a game that it doesn't work on.. 🙄
I had the same problem. Try not using an extension usb cable. It may be you’re not using a 3.0 usb cable.

There is no fix. This has been an issue since the game released, I have been waiting for a patch to fix this for months so I can enjoy the game but so far, nothing. It is very frustrating...
New update and STILL NOTHING. COME ON EA FOR GODS SAKE
I just tried the 1.10 patch and FFB still works for one race then switches off completely if I try to start a second.
I'm running the game through Steam in Windows 10, using a Logitech G29 with all the latest firmware/drivers/G Hub, etc.
