I predicted last year somewhere on here that I thought  they move release date forward and that it would most likely be in May.   I’m all knowing 😂😂

    Hey there,

Take into account that there is not official information, so all these rumours aren't much valuable until there's anything official.

@EA_Groguet Funny that EA forums members are quick to respond yet when there's problems you and others are no where to be seen.

    Sorry not sorry

I've heard the rumour but have no idea if it's credible.

This appears to be the original source from what I can tell quickly:

As always, how good an unexpectedly early release date would be will depend on what state the game launches in.

The leaker has been known to be largely reliable. Who knows?

It would be good marketing  by drumming up interest of the game in conjunction to F1s return to the screen.

While I don't remember the exact release of every F1 game I vaguely remember it goes something like this...

    f1 2010-2014: September/October

f1 2015: As someone who mainly plays career...Who gives a #*!@        but it was July

    F1 2016/17: August

    F1 2018: July

    F1 2019: June

    F1 2020: July

    F1 2021: July

    F1 2022: July 1st (so basically June)

    F1 2023: Mid June

So TLDR they've been moving the release date forward for a while now. So even the original Codies BrainTrust had the idea that it would be smart to move to release date forward to align with the start of the season like most other sports games. I would also imagine that plan has been put on steroids since the arrival of the suits from EA.

Early play-testing is encouraging but there could still be huge elements of the intended launch game to finish while driveable elements exist. Leak could well prove accurate though 🙂.

That was a sick and deserved burn. Hopefully this franchise gets back on track for good 🙏

@THEHAMZAGAMER12They have been sending me E-mail invites to test F1 24 at Guildford for months. There’s been multiple dates. So Playtesting for 24 has also been ongoing.

@ScarDuck14 I've been very tempted for a few of those days, but not sure if it covers the petrol even though I'm not a million miles away

@TotosHeadphones I wanted to and would have done. However as they pay for our time with EA games. I already get gifted all the EA games I want for volunteering my time. So hour drive each way if the M25 is clear… Which during the day it’s generally a car park. So say 4 hours travelling + Fuel then up to 6 hours playtest. To me that works out me be atleast Mid tier Wheel and Seat/Rig 😇.
