You have to open the Admin Area on RaceNet and then you firstly have to create a new Season, after which you can "Edit Season settings". There you find all of the Ingame settings that you can change

Didn't work at all. Not giving any options to change those settings. Weekend structure and assists

It should. Admin Area -> Season -> Edit Season settings. Have you created a new season before trying to change it? You need to create a new season before you can change it.
