Re: Huge perfomance issues on night races

I was getting bad frames in time trial on my 165hz monitor. What is your in game framerate set to? Mine was set to my monitor(165hz) and I was getting less than 60fps. but after changing it to "auto" my fps shot back up to normal, 120+. Would like to know if this helps.

Just noting to anyone coming to this thread later, this isn't a fix for the poor performance in night time races, seems to be for something else.

Races and time trial during night still have a massive FPS drop, even on high-end hardware. I have the same amount of FPS on maximum settings or lowest settings during night races so it doesn't seem to be any of the settings available to us causing the issue.

@WHODATMcLarenThis works for me. having a 165hz monitor, switching to auto and my fps were back

Great. Hopefully this helps others on PC. Unfortunately, I'm not sure of the console equivalent fix since their in game graphics options are very simplistic.

Well, that didn't help me much. And I am using a 60 Hz monitor to it too.
