So, 2 weeks later and I still cannot play in VR,
Maybe I am way off the mark with the xbox controllers and the reality is that the patch before last broke the game to work with the Pico 4 and Virtual desktop. Just as a different strategy, how can I delete my user profile ingame and make a new one ?
Another patch and another 2 weeks where I cannot play in VR, if you are too incompetent to fix this, then at least give us the option of rolling back to a stage where the game actually worked in VR.

You don't see very clearly then, how can I still play F1 22 in VR and not F1 23, typical pass the buck answer, "the problem is on your end", wake up to yourself pal, the game was working fine until patch 1.06.
- @V-Sabbath-V Ok let’s say it is the game. I never said it was at your end just suggested that it was. Problem is you’re kind of screwed either way. They only tend to investigate issues that have numerous reports
There is no "Lets say it is the game", it is the game, EA have a habit of screwing up every game with every patch. FIFA starts off good until they patch it to death, then it ends up being just another FIFA 17,18,19,20,21,22. I can't start Star wars squadrons in VR with virtual desktop, I have to install Oculus software or use the PICO streaming software. Virtual Desktop is a pretty widely used piece of software which works with every VR game I have apart from the ones produced by EA. So I suggest it is on EA's end.
- @V-Sabbath-V I hope you’re right I honestly do and I honestly hope they fix it. All I am saying is don’t discount the idea it’s on your end.
Problem is not many have the opportunity to have a VR Sim setup so less people to report issues which has a knock on effect where not enough people report issues to make it a priority for Codemasters to fix.
You are right though patches tend to create more bugs than they fix.
Believe it or not I’m on your side not EAs Ea's M.O. ScarDuck they bring out a game that works for a few weeks, then they patch it and it no longer works. I can still play F1 22 in VR with Virtual Desktop but after playing F1 23 the handling in F1 22 is pretty dire.
The internet is littered with problems with steering wheels not working, FFB not working. TBH the only person I am mad at is myself, allowing myself to be hoodwinked by this sham of a company .... AGAIN.
