Same has happened to me, was supposed to go from Silver 1 to Gold 1 but now I'm in Bronze.
@spirosbvbIt's just something EA do they do exactly the same on Fifa Ultimate Team once the new season comes out they relegate you two divisions if you're in anything above Div 5 Then 6-10 they relegate you one division. They do it so people keep playing the game because of the rewards being better the higher you are.
So like with F1 they don't want everyone in Elite because it'll be quicker for them to complete the Podium pass each month as you get a 20%xp bonus.
@ScarDuck14if I follow your thought, not getting the Elite Racer trophy at the end of the season, is also not a bug. Everything feels so strange and totally not right or fair. Let's see how this works out

Maybe they will change it for next season but very doubtful they will change how it is currently

Make s no sense at all. Last week to grind to go gold 2 i made 30hrs on it to be sure that i am in gold 2. And this week bronze again. Shame ea and codemasters. Again no sense at all. I love this game but i am going to start hate it
I don't think there is a bug, but a design issue. I had the points to be promoted to Gold 2 and now i'm on silver 1,exactly where i was when i started playing ranked. So... i have to grind all over again.
The game is enjoyable, (despite the dirty drivers and so on), but definitely it feels unfair, and that there's no motivation to earn points and improve, since they're going to be reset anyway.
Explain mine.. I was supposed to go to gold 3. I'm in silver 1 now. The game got bugged. You rank up or down depending on your place in your group..
