@Bpc004Nope I’m having the same issue, I’ve started My team careers with icons like Button and Mansell and in the first season they either finish out off the points or don’t finish. They are so bad I just hire the cheapest F2 driver available and use the cash on facilities,  I’ve noticed in general Your teammate doesn’t start to perform better until almost half way into second season.

Problem that’s always been in career modes is they are ten seasons long but generally by season 3. All facilities and upgrades are maxed out and you’ve already won both championships:

So I and others are pretty sure the game has been modified (badly) so artificially slow our progress in first season especially. Teammate doesn’t pull his wait. Upgrades constantly fail first time and you break down more during the race. It gets worse depending on how you’re performing. Say your car is tenth rank car in the performance table: But you consistently get podiums. The game will use cheats and scripts to slow you down.
