Red Flag finishing position bug

Summarize your bug I had a red flag in my first race of my team and the finishing positions were the ones before the red flag not where everyone actually finished when it restarted!
What is your 16 digit Report Code? EVRD-MDAH-EBKT-HPXE
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Bt
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure if it happens everytime but i had it when i had a red flag in a race in my team
What happens when the bug occurs? the race finishes as it should but then points and positions are based off before the red flag
What do you expect to see? points and positions to be rewarded based off where everyone finishes after the restart

As you can see my driver was awarded 2 points after bahrain and sits ninth in the standings which is where i was prior to the safety car, i actually finished sixth.

    This is incredibly poor from EA, red flags were one of the major new gameplay features and the fact that it’s broken on launch is embarrassing

    Wow that's a big bug for a heavily advertised feature. You really have to question the QA that they use. Either the bugs are just so numerous or they're not worth the money.

    On PC(EA APP)  same bug, finished Bahrain 13th after red flag and after all I was 18th.

    @EA_rephii Surely, this would've been picked up by QA testing. It's one of your headline features for goodness sake, at least try to make it work as intended on launch day, but these things can be fixed and it will hopefully without doing anything else to the game's functionality. Alex Gillon suggested that it might be due to the game adding all the cars' lap times together through the race and during the red flag period and that determines the race finish order, while others think the rest of the race hadn't happened according to the game after the red flag and it goes off the order at the point the red flag was thrown. Until this is fixed, this feature won't be turned on, on my copy at least. Look, I get that it is a new spin on the feature from F1 2013 when they were last in, but it really needed a bit more robust testing to make sure this didn't happen. It just paints you guys in a bad light.

    What happens when the bug occurs? After race finish points are issued to PRE red flag postions
    What do you expect to see? Points awarded to post red flag finishing places

    @KYLEPATO1234567Had same thing on PC. Red flag on lap 26 around Imola. Nicked 2nd place on the last corner, crossed the line 1.5 secs behind 1st place and then result showed me as finishing 7th (1min 47secs behind the winner). Guess just need to turn red flags off until its fixed

    @HerbertThePervs Right, Jarno Opmeer pretty much confirms that the race order is stuck at the red flag point, this just needs to changed to the race finishing order instead then if a red flag occurs.
