I wouldn't be here moaning aboout it if the keyboard was quick and easy to use. It isn't. It's very slow and cumbersome actually. With a mouse it would be swish-click, swish-click. Super fast!
It's also a bit hilarious to see people defending it not being in the game and actually arguing against it, lol. Why? Why do you have a problem with a feature that is supported in (I'm guessing) 99.9% of all PC games? We just want the game to be better and easier to use. That's a good thing right?
Now, lack of mouse support won't stop me from getting the game, but it's getting a bit silly at this point.
There are limited resources to develop each new version of the game so time spent implementing one thing will be time that isn't spent doing something else. So the question then becomes how high priority is mouse support, and how easy it is to add also becomes relevant.

While that's true, it's also true for the 99.9% of games that do have mouse support. 😉
Besides, some features are considered so mandatory that they shouldn't even be on the priority list but rather on the must-have list. Mouse support is one of those, and I think the overwhelming majority of PC users (and devs) would agree on that.
But anyway, I'm not going to argue the point further. Like I said I'll most likely buy the game anyway. Let's hope against hope that mouse support comes in a patch at some point.
- @F1Aussie This is and will always be a CONSOLE PORT. While the rest of the world had discovered "mouse support" EA /Codemasters are still living in the "pre-mouse" era. Can't wait for the game to be handed over to a more competent and "modern" developer who knows how to make a multi platform game, someone like Kunos for example.
Good to see I am not the only o e that sees it as a mandatory feature. I have boycotted this series until they implement this so more than likely will never buy again.
Doesn't really matter though, I keep myself very busy in AMS2 with my limited seat time.
I am pc person. I want a mouse implemented, but I can live without it! Thinking someone would boycott a product for such a minor inconvenience is foolish. He is probably someone I wouldn't want to meet in my game; just my opinion.
If you can't handle such a minor inconvenience to the point of blackmail, "not buying it," in my mind, you are a whiner... Get over your silly pride. It is a good game, and using the keyboard is easy enough. Many do so effortlessly! Unless your horse is much toooooo high, get the game anyway. You won't regret it! Or don't; honestly, you won't be missed.

My life, my money, my time, my choice, if people don't take their own personal stand on things then nothing will change. I used to religiously buy this series from when codies first got the licence. I think the last I got was 2020, maybe and every year I found myself playing them less and less and one of those reasons were the frustrations of menu navigation. There were others too but this was my biggest gripe. I have a pretty good idea of what I am missing and I am not missing it.
I may be in the minority but I don't care. Will EA change this? Probably not, will they care that one person less won't buy? No. Do I care that I am missing playing this game? No. Will I missed here? No. Will I miss coming here? No, I only drop in every year to see if they add mouse support.
Am I a whiner? Far from it, I don't see how asking about a normal feature and then making comments about it makes me whiney but hey whatever floats your boat, no skin off my nose.
If i've said it once i've said it a thousand times... This game is PURELY a CONSOLE PORT and PC players are "frowned upon by EA/ Codemasters and have been for generation after generation of this game. Im pretty sure the devs use pen and paper to devise and work on this game because they obviously don't use the MOUSE!
Im on PC and the UI in game is 99% of the time (Square / triangle/circle etc etc in the menus)..sometimes I get to see "use F1 or F2 or some other key on my keyboard..the game just decides randomly whether or not it wants to show me console commands or keyboard ones.
And dont get me started on PHOTO MODE!!! How the hell (ON PC) do you use photo mode when you dont have a joystick to maneuver the screen around? I can go up and down and tilt..I cant move sideways because the button to use for that is a friggin JOYSTICK!!

I beg you, then don't buy it. You seem an awfully uptight person, and I wouldn't want to play the same game as you.
If no mouse keeps away people like that, I am all for more game with no mouse.
