split screen extreme laggy

Summarize your bug If someone gets off track and causes some smoke, the whole game starts to lag. I already checked and changed the settings without improvement. Split Screen ist unplayable.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
Did you have cross-play enabled? No
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try Split screen
What happens when the bug occurs? As soon AS the smoke comes, the while Game lags
What do you expect to see? No lags

    I have the same problem, split screen mode is unplayable. knowing that the game is in such condition, I won't buy it 😠

    Still the Same Problem and on Top massive Performance Problems when its raining. Update did not help.

    Same issue here (PS5). 1.08 didn't fix anything. Really disappointing. ☹️

    I have the same problem on Xbox Series X. I have found that it occurs more often if using the quick resume feature on Xbox Series X. While the issue was occurring I brought up the pause menu and it gave this Report Code: MJBX-RGRX-GGCK-GDJG.

    the problem still persists and the game in split screen mode is not playable on PS5.

    I tried another console at a friend's and the same problem.
    I have already tried everything on the console side, nothing helped.

    Sorry to hear that the issue still isn't fixed. I'm happy that I got my money back. Won't buy the game again until they fixed it.

    i'm still having this problem. read in some forums that you have to do the quali before the race, then the lag will not occur. i'll try when i get home.
