Sudden 100% loss of FFB (game glitch, not overheating)

Product: F1 23
Platform:Xbox Series X
Please specify your platform model. Microsoft Xbox Series X
Summarize your bug After around an hour of being in the game - driving or not - the force feedback completely disappears (absolutely, 100%!) . Upon quitting the game and reloading it returns to normal, then goes again after an hour or so.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? N/A
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Irrelevant
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Driving with a Thrustmaster TX in any mode for over an hour, occasionally takes longer
What happens when the bug occurs? Immediate, unexpected loss of ALL force feedback. .
What do you expect to see? Not losing FFB mid race and having to quit as a result

Nothing to do with tyre wear drop off or the supposed Thrustmaster “overheating” - this has been thoroughly tested using ultra low feedback settings to eradicate any chance of overheating. No such issue on F1 ‘22 or any other games which put far more force through the wheel.

@EA_BarrySorry Barry, it’s not this. I updated firmware to 58_06 upon the game release. I’m starting to get apoplectic, this is absolutely ruining our racing and needs sorting urgently. It’s not like I’m the only one with wheel feedback issues. There is obviously something that has changed from 22 to 23 that has messed things up. We’re just constantly being fobbed off, as though the blame lies with us or our wheels, when it’s very clear  that is not the case. It’s a joke.

I have exactly same problem and also same setup (Series X, TX and sf1000 wheel. Newest firmware installed.

When I play co-op career with my brother (full qualifying, 35% race), FFB suddenly drops completely off when there is 10-8 laps remaining during race. Its really really frustrating.

I am experiencing the same problem but with a Logitech G920. Regardless of what I am doing with the wheel, roughly 65 minutes after starting F1 23 I loose force feedback. This only occurs with F1 23. I have tried to recreate this problem with F1 2020, F1 22, Forza 7, and Wreckfest. So far the issue is only present in F1 23. The only fix that I have found is to unplug my wheel from the xbox. This has become extremely frustrating as now I preemptively unplug my wheel before any race. Strange to me that so many people on all different types of hardware are experiencing the same issue.

@EA_BarryPlease can you ensure the dev team are actually made aware of this issue? As you can tell we’re getting very frustrated, but I know you are doing your best to help. Many thanks
