@mariohomohno, i´m already play automobilista 2 and assetto corsa and assetto corsa competizione, honestly, without assists f1 23 don´t give a so much difference between these games, finally you can apply the same driving techniques and will work, automobilista 2 are improved just now because new 1.5 update, but before its similar, but sure, if you play without assists too, i think you can´t

I've done away with assists back in 2020 when I still played on PS4 with a controller, pal. Then I got a G923, a PS5, and finally a DD wheel and LC pedals this year. I can't honestly remember the last time I played any of these games with assists on, it was probably F1 2019 with ABS on medium? Heck, don't know 🤷♂️
Anyway it's been a looong while.
If you're honest about not seeing much difference in FFB and handling with F1 23 with no assists and ACC and AMS2, I can't argue with you further.
The difference is so stark it's like they're different languages altogether - English and Portuguese, if you will.
F1 is a simcade title. Specially on a pad. On a wheel? It's waaaay closer to the arcade pole of the spectrum compared to proper sims, though.
FFB needs to be organic and informative. F1 has canned effects and fails at relaying actionable feedback on wheel slip. It's still a delight to play, specially on F1 23, but I can't take anyone that puts it on the same shelf as proper sims seriously. Honestly, this shouldn't be a contention point

- @mariohomoh i disagree, the driving techniques used in automobilista 2 works fine on f1 23 without problems, if you drive on ams 2 you can driver f1 23 too, but i agree about ffb, if you use default values sure will be disastrous, but with adjustments you can improve a little your experience
but yeah, ffb on ams2 are better, no doubt
