I have been unable to find a fix even trying all the suggested ones. But today I have finally found a fix for me. It’s the usual way from the past couple of years but I had to unfortunately delete the old two player career, but before I started another one, I went to F1 World > Play > Multiplayer Grand Prix > Create > No ( open ) > settings > lobby settings > change the cars from f1 world to 2023 > simulation settings > equal performance OFF
Then back out all the way to the main menu and create a new two player career but make sure to skip the invite a friend bit, you can do that after you’ve finished setting up the career. I also turned crossplay off, can’t confirm this mattered but hopefully not as a lot of people are playing cross platform.
Silly to have to do but nothing else worked for me till I did this.
Hey EA, did you even try to QA test this thing or did you just ship it out?
Awful that your users have to find ways to jury rig your game into working correctly instead of you just doing your job correctly.
Do better.
