Tyre Temp

Is anyone else having an issue with tyre temp or is it my set up?

I'm finding after long straights and some corners I have blue surface temp which is causing me a small issue with lock ups. Opposite problem to 22 where surface temp would be to hot!

@stocker14 Yup. You should also notice grip drops off when tyres are 20% - 25% worn. Initial drop off in grip is earlier but Tyres last longer.

Hi, I didn't not check in the track yet but I'm starting to 'read' the related ERP file (btw topic here), tyre temps look much more forgiving than in F1 22 in terms of grip, both on lower and on higher temps. Lock ups may depend on aggressive brake bias instead

  • Takes a lap or 2 to come up but it’s not an issue for me. From looking at ai onboard ideal temps look to be 100 for soft, 103 for medium and 105  for hard, at least in Bahrain driver career 100%

@ScarDuck14 I’ve noticed the tires fall off quicker in this year’s game. Another thing I’ve noticed is you can get the temperatures up to 110C (230F) and the tires stay green. I’ve only gotten my tires up to 235F (112C) and it started to turn yellow on the MFD.
