I don’t know if anyone has been having this issue on the F1 races but this is game breaking for the career.

I will do a race later today. @FizzyVessel74 describes it perfectly, and it is every race if you have the sprint and feature races.

@ivun3F2 and the game in general is very bugged + the game doesnt follow every rule from real life, be it F1 or F2But to give you a little insight, by the actual rules you can use whatever tyre you want whenever you want in real F2. In the game the rules usually are that you can only use 1 tyre in practice and 1 tyre in qualifying, however as F2 in the game is so badly replicated i never tested thoroughly if the tyres used in practice are returned to Pirelli.. The qualifying tyre you can definitely keep for both races.

@ivun3 Its because the tyres from qualifying and sprint can be reused in the feature race, prime from sprint makes no sense but in theory you can which is realistic

@ivun3 you say in training? in training we are obliged to use only one tire, which in this case is the hard tire, it is not possible to change it, I only used the hard one, in the average races of 35% the 5 sets of tires are 3 hard and 2 soft, one hard is used in training and then returned, in Qualy we are obliged to use only a soft tire and in Sprint we use the new soft tire, and the AI too. in Sprint we can choose the hard ones but then the other pilots go in softs and the bug happens with the AI in the feature race too

I think you didn't understand very well, but you're almost understanding. Look, there's my comment here with the photos, you can see that in the first photo I stop at Qualy (complete) with only one lap the tires were 9% I went to Sprint with the new soft tire as the game says, I can choose a tire hard to Sprint plus the AI goes from new soft to Sprint and only me from hard, finally I did the Sprint with a new soft tire it got 55% wear. I went to the feature race and the game chose the Qualy tire plus it with added damage of 41% as you can see in the fifth photo of the comment the right thing was to have 9% wear and you see in the last photo that I stopped still in feature race to put the used soft tire to see if it was the Sprint one and the Sprint tire as I put it as you can see in the last photo it has the same wear that ended the Sprint race that is the tire we used in the Sprint no gets added damage as the first strategy tire for the feature race

@Meza994 I understand that, But surely If a 100% race is 8% wear per lap. If you do a 25% race it should only be 2% wear and 50 would be 4%

@DRudd13 In theory the other way around but no it only scales to 2x tyre wear and stays the same for any shorter distances so 100% would be 4% wear per lap and no matter if 50%, 35%, 25% or even shorter its all 8% wear per lap

There is no further scaling after 50%

@DRudd13 in the 25% races there is no bug, in the 35% races there is the wear and tear bug but this is solved by removing the presentation lap, if it is disabled there is no tire wear. and in the 50 and 100% races there simply is not the last hard tire from the original allocation available only the hard one we used in the Sprint

to try to work around the bug i once tried to go soft on 50% runs in the Sprint hahahaha the tire blew out on the last lap
