Tyre wear still sucks and is not getting fixed

Yeah this is basically to still say that tyre wear is not only unrealistic but terrible. Wear and grip loss should be linear, not a switch when it goes up to 25%; losing so much grip for no reason will never make sense and makes the game experience terrible. And no, it's not about getting better, it is about not ruining a handling model with a terrible tyre wear model which makes more than half of the race stints barely enjoyable because of losing more than half the grip you have pretty much.

This game was promising with the handling, but this ruins overall playing experience. I hope someone at EA/Codemasters notices it and tries to fix it because it is really stupid and terrible. More people should be complaining instead of shutting up and saying "get better", I don't get how anyone can like this crappy wear model.

@Nylink Last year a lot of YouTubers who post Myteam and Co-op videos disabled Carcass. Not sure about this year but I assume they still do and they are all using wheels.

No point handicapping yourself against the Ai.

That type of "extra" difficulty work in E-sport, and when competition is monitored between human, it should be as default on off; in my opinion, people should want to put it on only in specific circumstance unless they make the AI smart enough to be able to account for it as well.

I mean, it's cool if you are e e-sporter and like to train and get used to dealing with that challenge, but it makes no sense in any challenge that relate to some sort of AI (so yeah, I only play offline and I keep it off 100% of the time disable carcass make things work better in general)

@pekish79 It should be always on and at the very least for next years game Codemasters should make the AI have normal tyre heating, same as player (slightly modded if AI turning induces too much/too little heat) but its very easy with the more realistic - subtle grip change approach of tyre temps to make the AI work on it, its the same as tyre wear and the AI can cope with that very well..

Im gonna make a big suggestion in a while - when i got some time - which includes this and ways of fairly easily making it work but track temps, air temps and tyre temps are one of the biggest reasons for differing performances by teams and just an essential part of the F1 experience
